Merry Christmas with Marius van Dokkum

Especially for the festive December month, the Stadsmuseum Harderwijk is organizing an exhibition with appropriate works by Marius van Dokkum. “Merry Christmas with Marius van Dokkum” can be visited from December 14, 2019 to January 5, 2020 on the ground floor of the museum.

From December 14, 2019 to January 5, 2020 his funniest and most beautiful paintings with Winter and Christmas themes can be seen in the Smeepoortzaal on the ground floor. Titles such as “Christmas stress” and “Everything to your liking” promise a lot of viewing pleasure. And Marius’ version of the Christmas story will also put a smile on the face of visitors. This exhibition is free of charge, so feel free to come in!
Finish your visit in the Culture Café of the City Museum, with a cup of coffee, tea or hot chocolate with whipped cream, and of course with something tasty. This way, everyone will automatically end up in a cheerful Christmas mood!

From December 17, 2019 the Stadsmuseum Harderwijk also has the photo exhibition Me. 10 years of Monique Eller. The photographs by Monique Eller are related to 17th century painting, but at the same time they are a wonderful reflection of contemporary multi-cultural society. To be seen until March 29, 2020.

Vanaf 17 december is in Stadsmuseum Harderwijk ook de fototentoonstelling Me. 10 jaar Monique Eller te bezichtigen. De foto’s van Monique Eller zijn verwant aan de 17e eeuwse schilderkunst, maar zijn tegelijkertijd een prachtige afspiegeling van de hedendaagse multi-culturele samenleving. Te zien tot en met 29 maart 2020.
